Message from the Chairs
A CHI Journals presentation gives authors the opportunity to get increased exposure and feedback for their journal article by presenting it at the conference while also benefiting from the greater continuity of the journal review process.
Authors of articles accepted to ACM Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction (TOCHI) or ACM Transactions on Social Computing (TSC) are invited to submit their article for presentation at CHI. Depending on available space, we may also be able to accommodate articles published in other HCI journals. Authors of such articles should contact the chairs via tpc@chi2027.acm.org before submitting.
How to Submit
Authors who would like to present their journal article at CHI 2027 must submit the required information through the PCS Submission System by the submission deadline.
The submission is only used to organize journal presentations at CHI. The journal article has already been accepted and will not undergo another review process.
Submissions must be complete and meet the requirements listed on this page to be considered for inclusion in the CHI 2027 program.

Upon Acceptance of the Submission
The chairs will select journal articles for presentation at CHI 2027 based on their fit with the conference program and the available presentation space. For CHI 2027, we hope to accommodate all journal presentation in the
Authors whose submissions are selected will be notified and provided with further information about the presentation format and scheduling.
At the Conference
Selected journal presentations will be scheduled with other CHI Papers according to topical relevance. At least one author must register for and present the work at CHI 2027.
Authors can opt to upload a video presentation (a presentation video of your accepted work) by the video presentation deadline. See technical requirements for video content at CHI for guidance when preparing a video presentation. Accepted authors will receive the details of video presentations separately.
For authors who choose to present their work at CHI in-person, further instructions regarding the presentation of the work will be shared closer to the conference dates. Presenters can expect an HDMI cable and are responsible for presenting their slides using the connector provided.
Accepted contributions may be scheduled at any time during the conference. Authors should ensure their availability, as individual scheduling requests cannot be accommodated.
